A therapist who truly
knows your world.

I have spent over 20 years working within independent and parochial school communities in San Francisco and Marin, first as a school counselor and now in full-time private practice. That experience means I bring more than clinical training to this work. I understand the culture, the pressures, and the dynamics of these schools from the inside and I know how to work alongside them as a genuine partner in your child’s care.

I am primarily a psychodynamic therapist, which means I look at past experiences to help clients understand their current challenges. Insight, awareness, healing, and the therapeutic relationship are the cornerstones of change. Depending on your goals, I draw on additional modalities to best support you.

My approach is warm, relational, and deeply collaborative. Therapy does not happen in isolation. I work closely with teachers, learning specialists, tutors, and pediatricians to bring everyone into alignment around what your child truly needs.

I also work with adults navigating significant life transitions, new parenthood, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and neurodivergence. I bring the same relational, whole-person approach to every stage of life.

For most clients, the most meaningful change comes through longer-term relational work. That is where I do my best work. I also offer focused short-term intensives for families or individuals who need targeted support around a specific challenge.
